This morning, I woke up to find that a number of Top Traders across my trade guilds, friendly trade guilds AND rival trade guilds have all received 72 hour bans for ‘Duping’. This is affecting many Guild members/traders in The Elder Scrolls Online and they are unable to play the game because of this alleged ‘Gold Duplication’ ban. As per recent reports, players’ accounts in The Elder Scrolls Online are getting suspended by ZeniMax Online Studios due to a ‘Gold Duplication’ ban. Now, some The Elder Scrolls Online players are going through something similar. However, these measures might at times cause trouble for innocent players as well. Since games like The Elder Scrolls Online have a huge player base, there are also some automated measures in such games to prevent cheating. The Elder Scrolls Online is now available across numerous platforms like Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox, and more. It came out in 2014 and has since received a bunch of updates and expansion packs. For now though, it looks like this duplication glitch is going to get you banned from the Elder Scrolls Online.Developed and published by ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda Softworks respectively, The Elder Scrolls Online is one of the most played massively multiplayer online role-playing games across the globe.

With so many players looking to circumvent the game rules, it’s only a matter of time until players discovered new methods and hacks that can ruin the experience for everyone.

While this is the first major glitch or hack discovered in The Elder Scrolls Online, it’s unlikely to be the last. Please continue to report any botters, gold spammers, and speed hackers you see in-game, and we’ll continue our efforts to keep them out of Tamriel,” reads a post from Jessica Folsom.

We want to thank everyone who has sent in-game reports about these individuals in ESO-your reports helped us identify many of the accounts we banned today. This is only the beginning of our ongoing efforts to keep the game free from botters, speed hackers, and gold spammers.

“Today, we made our first major strike against those who choose to cheat in ESO, permanently banning thousands.
